Spider Baby .-. 1964 - improved audio

Weird, funny, brutal, and twisted, three children of the Merrye family live under the care and protection of their chauffeur, Bruno, played by Lon Chaney, Jr. The "children" are afflicted with "Merrye" syndrome, a form of dementia caused by inbreeding. It's a "made for drive-in's" kind of movie, that will have you laughing and saying, "ooh, gross," at the same time. The music is perfectly tacky and well suited for this film.
Written and Directed by Jack Hill, Music by Ronald Stein
I spent several hours, over a few days, cleaning up the audio to make this more watchable. There is a 2 minute demo, with some before and after scenes to demonstrate the difference.

Subject: Cult Classic Gets Major Audio Upgrade
I can't say any more than the reviews at IMDB - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058606/, but I do want to thank the poster for a terrific job on the audio. The version I had was almost intelligible. So whether you think it's a classic or one of the worst - 5 stars for the upgrade.

Subject: Only a true fan
Up until now, I considered myself a true fan of bad movies. This one proved me wrong. I'm giving this four stars cause they managed to sign up Lon Chaney. I'm thinking he didn't have a pension to have agreed to this one.

Subject: Thanks Clayton!
Great bizarre flick. Addams family on acid kinda describes it.
Thanks Clayton for your selfless work and going so far as to clean up the audio track. Many of us really do appreciate all the work of the kind folks who volunteer their time so others can enjoy all the available files here!

Subject: The Adams Family gone wrong.
This is the type of film that has to be watched to be believed. This one should end up a cult classic. The best way to describe it would be the Adams Family gone terribly wrong. Thanks for posting this great old movie. Plus it was great to see Mantan Moreland. If only for a short time.

I would like to thank the poster for all the work they've put in on upgrading many videos, including this one!
